He was really patient with me. When I came to Xela, I didn't know any word in Quiche but "si", "no" and some numbers. After a week of learning Quiche, I knew much more, and considered to be the Spanish and Quiche translator among my friends who travel with me in Guatemala and Central America. We talked about uses of Quiche in various contexts. He had lots of audio-visual teaching materials too. My family was wonderful as was my instructor.
