Volunteer Spanish Academy Home
When I arrived in Guatemala City, I was very nervous because I did not know anyone and my Spanish was basic. Plus I have learning disability. Now that I am leaving after about two months, my Spanish is much more fluent than what I expected and I had met new friends from many different countries. I also felt welcomed into the "Guate Spanish family" with it's teachers, host families, students, guides, etc. All of the connections I made in Xela will have a lasting impact in my life.
